Mayor Pro Temp/AlderwomanA Pickens native, I serve as Mayor Pro Tem with a strong desire to see my hometown thrive. As a mother, second-generation business owner, and community leader, Graduate of Mississippi University for Women, Mississippi Black Leadership Institute, and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Currently, President of T.O.P.I.C.S (Town of Pickens Improving Community Services).

As a young Alderwoman, she focuses on revitalization, infrastructure, and creating opportunities for local growth. Water Clerk / Court ClerkShe serves the Town of Pickens as both Water Clerk and Court Clerk, providing essential support in municipal utilities and court administration. She manages water billing, maintains accurate customer records, and ensures efficient service for residents.
Ahmad Smith
Town AttorneyAhmad R. Smith serves as the Town Attorney for Pickens, bringing strong legal experience from the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office and Forman Watkins & Krutz, LLP. He founded A.R. Smith Law, PLLC in 2020 and remains active in key professional organizations, including the Magnolia Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, and the Charles Clark Inns of Court.
